GFRAS serves on a global platform providing advocacy and support for an enabling policy environment and appropriate investment in rural advisory services. PIRAS is linked to the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS) and its regional network affiliations.
The Asia-Pacific Islands Rural Advisory Services Network (APIRAS) was was formed in 2011 to bring together professionals and institutions serving the Asia-Pacific Islands region in an agricultural capacity.
Based in Nadi, Fiji, the Pacific Island Farmers Organisation Network (PIFON) oversees national farmer organisations in the Pacific region. The organisation began its operations informally in 2008 before registering as a not-for-profit company in 2013.
The Pacific Agriculture and Forestry Policy Network (PAFPNet) brought together those in the Pacific to share their experiences and issues in agriculture and forestry. You can download agriculture country policies on the site.
